We need a version control thats easy to use for beginners. I never had any experience with version control.

Subversion is kind of the "standard", if you will, these days. It has some gui applications that can make it very beginner friendly, or it can be used in the standard console mode.

Version Control - SourceAnywhere

Hi,

You can try Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere, SQL-based source control tool designed to be a replacement of Microsoft Visual SourceSafe. It has JAVA GUI client and JAVA command line tool that can run in Linux. Also, it is well integrated with Eclipse IDE.

Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere has two editions: Standalone and Hosted. For more info, you can visit:

Thanks.
