Tutorial on creating books help
I am trying to create a web site that looks like a open book, but I am running into some difficulties. Are there any tutorials online to show you how to create a open book using photoshop?
Thanks!

Your best bet here would be starting with a photo (like this one?). Doing this gives you free reign over angle, lighting and things. This will also give you very natural shapes for how the pages bend and lay down. From there you can Photoshop-out the text on the pages, and decorate them & the book cover as you see fit.
Or you could even use the photo as a starting point; trace it out with the Pen tool, and add shading, textures, etc. I've done lots of things without using such guides, and the geometry/perspective of the image always looks off.
Interesting concept. I'd love to see how it turns out
Good luck!

When creating web site using Photoshop, what is the best px to use? I was using 1040px by 900px, but it just doesn't seem like enough room.

I design typically in that range. 1024 seems to be what resolution the majority of web surfers still use, though I'm having trouble finding some timely statistics.
But my monitor's on 1400 x 1050. Figure out who your audience is, and design for them.
