It's christmas soon! w00t yhayz!!11111

Heh, I don't actually like it that much anymore since I fork out more dosh then i revive, but anywho what are you lot wanting from crimbo?

I don't normally buy 360 games myself, unless it's something I really really want, but hopefully I should be getting: Mass Effect and BioShock. I also had Sky+ fitted into my bedroom last week as part of an early present. :-)

So what presents do you want / expect?

I was going to get my boyfriend a PS3, but there is apparently a special 60gb model that he wants and it has to be this particular model and I won't get it right so I didn't. I got him a bunch of other stuff instead.

Me? I want this:

in any color really, pink or green preferrably.

And the pasta maker attachment and C hook.

that is all.

I want a digital SLR (Pentax K10D preferably). I know I'm getting Guitar Hero III from my sister, but I'm not sure about anything else. I've gotten so much this year that I'd be happy with a couple of books, to be honest.

Atheist over here.

However, the rest of my family are Christians. I end up giving a gift to the most influential people to me since last Christmas.

I'm going in with my brother to get my mom a Nintendo DS + R4. And We're also going in to get my mom's partner a bunch of Mustang ****(she has a new mustang and has always had mustangs...) and a wireless router.

Since my brother and my birthday's are so close to Christmas we're just getting each other a birthday present but I don't know what to get him yet. Actually, I'll probably upgrade the RAM on his laptop to 2GB.

Lucifel, why don't you answer what you plan to get or whatever for your birthday since Christmas doesn't apply to you.

Edit: Megan, my mom has one of those mixers and she loves it more than her Sharop Aquos tv. luwl. I love it too cause of the stuff she makes with it. <3

My immediate family doesn't do much at Christmas time when it comes to gifts, instead trying to keep the true meaning behind the holiday. So in our family, gift giving is done on a more personal, less routine, basis. So one year I may spend $100 on my brother, and only $10 on my sister or parents. We don't expect to get gifts from each other. Basically, a few months before Christmas, we start hunting around for little accessories and gadgets each of us might be interested in.

As far as I know, I'm not getting any gifts from my family this year, but I still did some online shopping and have ordered everyone a little something.

I got my mom a USB Christmas tree and gave it to her early so she could enjoy it through the holiday (it's pretty cool for $12).

My brother's getting a piggy bank (click the link for a good laugh; he's going to be formally engaged right around Christmas; what a gift to present him with, no?).

My dad's getting a plasma night light for his office.

My sister's getting several DVD's from the live performances of her favorite singers (and I must admit, they're my favorites as well) - Anthony Kearns, Ronan Tynan, John McDermott, and Finbar Wright. They are considered some of the world's top voices, originally forming a group called the Irish Tenors, an offshoot of the world famous Three Tenors. My sister loves their music, but has never got to see any of their performances on video.

All in all, my gift expenditures this year will run around $200. I enjoyed spending every cent of it.

a USB christmas tree sounds kind of cool actually...

I'll remember that for next year.
