ditto. I loved TutorialForums simply because of the design(robouk's awesome btw tbqh ftw qft), and the fact that it had everything from a photoshop tutorial section to contests and even a freelance section where I began some of my first works for people besides myself.
I'm not going to go out and say I don't like this design or the new neverside design, but the TF design pleased me the most. I know how everything is web 2.0 these days, and it makes things more multifunctional, but what people are losing sight of is the fact that everyone is different, so we have different styles, and use different forum styles. I personally love the color green. Some other designers use other colors. I'm hoping there might at least be a color switcher on the new site because I'd like it to be personalized, similar to the designs of spoono.com.
Anywho, it's good to reminisce or look back at these things because without doing so just causes history to repeat itself again and again, as well as giving one a fuzzy feeling inside of how good things 'used' to be.

Tutorial Forums used to be my favorite online community as well, but now I guess I'm in sort of a limbo - I don't have a favorite anymore. It seems that the "friendly forum" atmosphere has all but disappeared, what with the web 2.0 craze today where everything is social networds, blogs, and RSS feeds. There's no pleasant atmosphere amongst many of the web design communities anymore.
I will admit that Robouk's design did look good at the time (with elements that are still admired today), but it's outdated now. However, while web design has taken an obvious step forward since TF's days (excluding Neverside's current design), web communities have taken a huge step backwards.

AbsoluteCross should stop cybersquatting/hogging the tutorialforums.com domain, let someone develop it back into the good ol' community...

Which reminds me, what ever happened to Robouk?
I think Neverside could be a great community. We just need to get it there. Forums in general certainly aren't as popular as they used to be...
