how to make a bounding box

Hi. I know it's possible with Corel to draw a rectangle, unfilled with a boarder with user defined outline width in one pass. My question is: how do you do this in PS?

Layer styles. First set the layer's Fill to 0%. Next right click your layer -> Blending Options -> Stroke, then set your color & width.

Illustrator can do it in one easy step but Photoshop's built differently.
