Quik Mask Error

Hey.

When i attempt to the "Quik Mask" option which allows you to use the brush tool and paint the area where u which you want to be selected. When i use the eraser to erase the paint instead of it erasing it it is now acting as a brush instead of an eraser. This happened to me a few days ago and i cant figure out how to revert it back to the way it use to be. I tried resetting the photoshop prefeneces (as said in the FAQ) but i couldnt find the file. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!

I don't think I've ever used the Eraser tool with a Quick Mask, interesting.. however, you can get the same functionality by painting with the opposite color (Black instead of White, or vice-versa).
