H8 Technology, becoming a baker instead

Well, not technology in what it was, but what its becoming. Cisco, Microsoft, Dell, Symantec, they're all assholes. I want no part of it.

So come 2009 my friend and I are retiring from our respective industries (she works for Calvin Klien in fashion, hates it) opening a cafe/bakery in Westchester, NY. Suggestions? Ideas? Insults?

General opinion as to where the technical world is heading?

I hope you're not going to use a computer to keep track of anything or bake your bread in an oven; you need to bust out the flint and tinder before the evil technology superpowers can locate your residence.

I'm totally using my computer to keep track of inventory. I just don't want to work in computers anymore.

I was more warning you guys to reconsider careers before college and whatnot.
