Banano made a funny based on how people commonly say that things are old on the Internetz, many times to gain cool-points by being "ahead of teh y00". As already explained, his punchline was: "saw it this morning" (saw the page, heard the sound, whatever you want to call it). So the joke isn't about whether he saw it or heard it, but rather how he in proud forum-master manner tells the world that he saw/heard it way before the thread-starter (in this case, since it's still a joke, with a little twist).
