Hey! I loved your tutorial on making inset buttons , but i couldn't ever complete it Sad

I got stuck part way on Step 5 :'( I just got up to using the 'free transform tool' when after doing so it says hit enter. Did that , but it then goes on to say click on 'create new vector layer' and it wont let me Sad Ive been through the whole tutorial several times , reading it word for word and i still cannot create the vector layer Sad

Can anyone shed some light on this for me???

Much Appreciated

Thank youuuuu!!

You lost me during step 5...

This doesn't work like the tutorial makes out it should, despite trying twice: "Make sure you have "Layer 2" active and hit delete. Now hold CTRL and click on "Layer 2" to select it then hit DELETE about 4 times to completely get rid of the white."

A bit of confusion about which layers contain what, I think.

The layers are confusing. Note to all, there are only two layers in this project. It starts off saying, first create a new layer - DO NOT DO THIS!!

Just make a new image with a background color of white (the background layer is then called layer - do not worry about it from here)

In step 4 at the beginning of the step it says "Now to make the highlight, create a new layer..." don't do that. Make one at the end of this step when it says.

If you ignore the layer-creation steps that I mentioned above, everything should work out fine.
