cms

my site is gettin bigger and bigger every week now, and im finding it hard to update, and the only option i can think of is a "content managment system"

was just wondering, whats the best route to take,
will it be easy to intergrate with my site or will i have to re-design to compliment the system?
any good cms sites i can take alook at for information?
any good cms scripts you lot can recommend?

help much appreciated
many thanks

I use Joomla for most of my sites and I find it to be pretty stable and useful. Theres thousands of different extensions/plugins/components for it, that makes it easy to add new site features. Installation is very simple, you just need a host that supports php and a mysql database. Templates are a bit shifty to work with in Joomla, but it's a very solid system.
