Wave effect

Hello,
Does anyone know how to create the wave effect that is on top of this content box? Also, could someone please direct me to a nice wave tutorial showing this? I've tried looking everywhere for this but have had no success.

The back of it (more visible on the right) looks to be just a plain ol' vertical gradient.

Create a new layer on top of that, and draw that curve shape using the Pen tool. It looks like it has a horizontal gradient and maybe some shadow/glow for the edges.
