can someone tell me how to make creases in clothing

I'm working on a skin for the sims 2, i want to add creases/wrinkles to the shirt so that it doesn't look flat ..i'm using pspx can anyone help me?

ok i think i actually figured it out on my own, or at least one way....i used eye dropper and got a sample of the darkest color/created a new layer/used airbrush/then the lighten tool along the side/then i used the smudge tool to blend them together....does that sound about right.....If there is an easier way please don't hesitate, i'd like to know..
