Add Buttons
You can't make the buttons exactly "function" in Photoshop if that's what you mean; it's a graphics program. If you have Macromedia Flash then you can use that to make it function; you first make the psd image a jpg in Photoshop. Next you create a new document and import the jpg image in Flash (File>Import>Import to Stage). Then, you break the image apart by going to Modify>Break Apart. After that, you select the section you want to be a button using the lasso tool and then go to Modify>Convert to Symbol, then you choose button. Then you double click on the button and it opens up a new timeline. Then, you make a new keyframe under each of the tabs (F6) and change the image in each frame to your liking. After you're done with all that, you have to use Actionscript to make it fully function. Lol, I've changed this thread to a Flash thread

Layer Mask Trouble
I'm having trouble adding a layer mask to the screen highlight layer. I've pressed the "Add layer mask" icon and done the pen stuff needed. I've turned the path into a selection. Here's where the problem is, I don't seem to be able to fill the selection.
Hope someone knows what I'm going on about.
Cheers for the help and the great tutorials.

Can you explain to me how you made the cord including the adapter the cord is on, and the buttons underneath? Thanks. I'll post my result when I am done.

My guess is that Robouk made the adapter and the cord with the pen tool, and created the buttons on a new layer using the ellipse tool, and then dragged that layer underneath the other layers.
Then he used a bunch of layer styles to create his quality effect.
