I submitted my app and hope to god I get to beta test this. It's a great idea, and I'm glad there will be more competition for youtube so hopefully they can upgrade as well later on.

W00t!!! I was accepted to beta test the venice project!!! omg omg omg~!
Welcome to The Venice Project beta testing program. As you may know,
we're working on a project that we think will completely revolutionise
television. Combining the best features of TV with the powerful social
features of the internet, The Venice Project will give TV viewers,
advertisers and content owners more choice, control and creativity than
ever before.
We'd like your help in realising this vision. Today, we're inviting you
to take a sneak preview of our work and take part in The Venice
Project's first beta testing phase. This is a private, invitation-only
beta test and the software is still in the early stages, but we would
greatly value your opinions. We hope you'll participate actively by
giving us your feedback on everything from bugs to performance issues
and suggestions for new features.
IMPORTANT! Please keep a careful note of this email address and
password, as you will need them to install and run the Venice Project
software. You must use the same details when asked for them by the
installation program.
You'll then be able to download the latest version of The Venice Project
application. Once you've installed the program, just run it and enjoy
watching TV. Play around with its features, flip between channels and
keep a note of any problems you experience. You'll find a form in the
beta testing area of the site for reporting bugs - please use it to
report any kind of feedback or suggestions for new features as well as
actual bugs and technical issues. You'll also find a list of known
issues and guidelines on hardware requirements.
We ask that you agree to abide by our terms and conditions and privacy
policy as part of your participation in the beta program. So please
don't give the application to anybody else, or even show it to them.
It's very early days for us, and we want to make sure that the right
people see the right software, at the right time.
We'll be in touch again to let you know when the next version of The
Venice Project is available. We hope you enjoy helping us create the
future of TV - thank you for your participation.
Best regards,
The Venice Project team

A pink or baby-blue logo will buy you another 50k.
I'm not saying that "The Venice Project" (what an original project name, for some reason it makes me think of processors) isn't extra spankular and fantastic, I'm sure it'll change the way we all think of life and feed. But I personally have grown away from the constant sudden omfgasms due to things like this. One would think that people who spend so much time on the internet would learn how easily things get hyped, not to say over-hyped. I rather expect nothing and get happily surprised every once in a while than expect everything and get disappointed every time.
Now I'm way off subject here, but your shoes aren't tied either, so it doesn't matter. All the paint is running out, I can't unspeak anymore for we are all english language talk not yes?
