U3 flash drive
Does anyone have comments on the U3 devices (those flash memory sticks that you can install software on)? Has anyone bought the software off their web site and used it?

I have a 2gb verbatim one. The drives are really usefull. Mine came bundeled with mcafee anti virus and a few other things liek cyberlink powerbackup. Its deffinately better than a normal memory stick and there are good security/privacy measures on it. You can get software that anonymises your surfing on the web.
Nobody wants your fucking file organisers, now please, go away. Did he advertise somethign in another post lol? I've got a little 512MB one and it's pretty cool. I don't like how you can't put the cap on the end of it if you've got the lanyard attached to it. never bought any of the software, seems stupid to me. just use your own portable programs, use google to search for them. I don't use their little interface either, I just use it like a regular flash drive. you can password protect it and it's pretty secure, though it doesn't even show up in linux at all if you set a password. ___________________ I've got a girlfriend! WOOT. Geez, you guys are really uptight in here. Thank you for the CONSTRUCTIVE comments about the U3. Aren't we supposed to talk about new technology? I thought the U3 concept was pretty neat... someone mentioned it to me and I'm debating to get one or not. ___________________ FileHawk
