Site Looks Diff in IE

Hello. I not an expert but I have done html before. But O haven't done it in a long time. I'm working on a new site layout and I'm having issues.

I'm playing around with the layout in DW8 and when I preview it in FF & IE they don't match. In IE it mirrors DW but in FF its different. That is the problem I'm having with my current website. It looks great in FF but in IE its screwed up. Can someone please help me.

Explain the issues and some solutions please> Thanks so much. I'll se is I can include the files. Its just html and a .css file.

You can try my site and see the problem their too. In IE there is a bar toward te center/end and in FF its fine.
