MySpace Layout

Hey guys,

It's been a while since I've tangoed with Photoshop, and I was trying to do a MySpace layout. I'm a black belt, and lately I've been feeling a lot of pride because I've been training to test again this year with the people testing for their first degree black, so I wanted to do a MySpace layout. It's pretty bad (strike that, really bad), and I was wondering if I could get some help/opinions, I'll do what I can, but I may need help (which is pretty much a given).

Anyway, my two favorite artists are Bruce Lee (of course) and Tony Jaa (I ultimately want to use a picture of him). I used a pic of Bruce Lee since I figured this was a WIP. I wanted to do like a vector image of a black belt going a cross the footer, but I have no idea how to make it, or even make it look good.

If you guys can help me out I'd appreciate it tons, and when we get a final thing working (if I don't have a copy of the PSD), would it be OK if I got it so I could slice it up in Imageready and link the different things?

If you want to make a vector, I suggest Illustrator. You can do it in PS, but it's easier in Illustrator. I also suggest a change of font (kind of hard to read in its current font). Also, I suggest you take a look at a myspace layout and see how they go about making the background images.
