So much for Amazon's 100 dollar XBOX 360

So, I parked my *** at the computer around 1:10, got ready for the Amazon's deal for the XBOX 360 for 100.00.

1:45 I'm ready
1:56 Amazon goes down (for me at least) - not a single thing on Amazon would load. Firefox was continually loading Amazon.
2:12 I get through to Amazon, only to find everything is sold out: even the other 3 deals.

Sh**. How is anyone supposed to get these?

Man, I had the exact same experience. Makes one wonder who actually got these deals... Maybe Amazon prime members? Who knows, but it does suck that we weren't able to nab one.

Umm all you really had to do what get to the checkout page, nm some people figured out a way to be at the checkout page with the 100$ xbox in their cart, and all they had to do was click submit order, they didn't have to go through two clicks.

Their servers couldn't handle everyone refreshing all the time, so it was very slow for most people. There was also a "skill testing question" page where you had to add two numbers and submit, which made it worse.

No, you couldn't add the XBOX Core and come back at 2pm, that's now how it worked. You had to go to the page where the deals were being voted on and buy it from there, then it directed you to a question. And, Amazon distributed a code to those who won one and they didn't have to buy it immediately.

Oh well. I wouldn't want a 360 core anyhow.
