Generally speaking, I've found it true that Horde characters seem to take the game more seriously. Of course there are always exceptions, but I remember hearing somewhere that the average age of a Horde character is higher than that of an Alliance. Maybe this is the reason Horde dominate the battle grounds?

its all about the hordes, screw those alliance dicks, they don't help out at all and most of them are jerks to you no matter what.

I started out alliance, made a human warlock and got him to lvl 27, then I decided to go Night Elf Rouge got that to lvl 47, which is an extremely good character, then I made a Gnome Mage and that little fellow is lvl 28 also a good character just takes a while to lvl. Just recently I started playing on a new server on horde and its really fun, I've got a Druid which is by far my favorite class hes lvl 28.

Horde and Alliance so far are pretty much equal, you just have to create relationships with people in game, treat it like real life and do to others as you would want them to do to you and you'll be fine.

lvl 60 mage on dentarg, got pretty far in end-game progression (twinemps, 2 bosses down in naxx). Quit for now tho it was owning my life, probably gonna start again in TBC.

sadly i'm still a lv. 15 troll hunter thats like halfway to being a lv. 16, i don't have time to play due to goin to classes and working 2 jobs. yeah, college life sucks. at least in my view.

I had a Field Marshal NE warrior and loved it. 78 days played. :[ ouch.
but then i quit and sold my account.
but if you do a rogue definately do a NE. and do not pick a dwarf.
i'd say either go with a rogue or warrior.
PvP server for sure. you might get ganked when your leveling but its much more fun when yoru at 60 to go ganking with your friends.
and as for playing time each day. when i pushed field marshal i play from liek 3:30 - 12 at night some break for dinner and stuff. but that was a ton of playign time once i hit FM i joined a raiding guild which play from about 7-12 friday/saturday, and i was free the rest of the week. but as your leveling just take time get to know the game and most important your class. and how it works. find good leveling build and stick wtih that.
