My new project

I have just launced my newest we project. It is a directory focused on the social community.

Just wanted to get a feel for what you guys think about it. It is built on the phpLD 2.0version and was redesigned by me.

its too wide, there shouldnt be a side scroll bar at a 1024x768 resolution

Looks fine for me in 1152X864, but you might wanna decrease the width a bit fot it to fit under 1024X768 which is what probably half people use.

It's clean and vibrant, I like the colour scheme. I will agree with thatpassivekid and HelloMoto, too wide. The general average for resolutions these days is 1024x768. Also, it may be just me, but there is more on the page then there really needs to be. I see two sections that, when put together, would be more space effective and would reduce clutter. Good job though

I don't like the scrollbar on the bottom of my screen.

Feels very cluttered, personally I would not spend much time browsing this website. The double whammy google ads seem to be the real thing that turns me away. I would remove or find a new home for the horizontal text ad. Consider spacing out your ads. Most people don't like to see more than 1 ad at first glance. I also notice that your banner image is not very refined, I would definitely consider refining the banner. Personally I think a nice, clean, vectorized logo alongside some clean text, in an attractive font would do wonders.

Also I would consider making the blue in the header slightly darker to define sections more clearly. I noticed by scrolling down, the site seems much more refined near the bottom, it blends together too much at the top.

Currently the site feels more like one of those domain snatcher generic sites ( seeq, domainsponsor, etc... ). Hope this helped. Keep it up!
