Yup thats right, the 2142 demo is out, go ahead and nab it from the EA downloader(but don't because the severs are "down"). I'm currently waiting to get it from fileplanet.

2142 is too arcadish for me. played it abit online, its fun, but something with it just feels off... i'll be sticking with BF2

Nice, now it's just waiting for Age of Empires V and we have some cool space games on our hands...

i went and bought it today, it was on special too.
i ve been a member for years with ea. i just logged in with my account info and presto...and man its addictive. i left my bud with it all day and it took me awhile to pry him off the computer after i got home. kind of reminds me of mech warrior robots mixed in this version.

thing about this game, for those who may want to get it, you need a dvd player.

it snowed...LOL...i find the graphics smooth, the operation of the aircraft better. very meckteck. i was able to play one darn game today before I was kicked off by my bud. Then he goes and gets a star! eeerrr. I knew i installed it on the wrong computer...LOL

gil, do you have the newer version, after aoe3?
i tried the demo but i didnt like it too much. didnt really give it my 100 % either.
i play 3 alot.
