US takes unilateral stance in new space policy

http://www.newscientistspace.com/article/dn10262-us-tak ... ew-space-policy.html

No real a big surprise, but it's really kind of disporting for me. I love space, and I knew that there would be weapons and what not in space one day (obviously)... but, you know I was just hoping it would be for a much better reason. *what I mean by wepons is a wepons build up; I know there are currently some wepons in space*

sad news for me..

You should really go back through your post and edit the hell out of it. My brain won't forgive me for reading that. Typos, grammatical errors, etc run rampant in your post.

Sad news indeed. Space, the final frontier...

What's so sad about that? If we don't build some defense systems up there, someone else will, it's inevitable.

It was late, I was mad, and I cant edit it now. So you're just going to have to deal.

It's sad to see the inevitable happen.

Look, everyone keep bitching on Korea for having a nuclear defense program, but then you say this kind of stuff is okay. The international community should be all over this. Why create a defense platform you won't need? Terrorists from space? UFOs flying into towers?

Preemptive warfare is the worst kind imo, since it's giving a fake reason to something unforgivable...
