Sorry I dont quite get how can this script work. because the position of the table is static then how can javascript change that?

First of all, it doesn't work for me.

But assuming it did work, it is possible in javascript to retrieve the scroll position of the document and adjust the table position based on that data.

It's not a true static object on the page, which is why when you scroll really fast the table 'lags'.

position: absolute; on the menu container should do it..
