Cutting people out of images
How do you get people out of one image and out them into another? (Like picture from a camera to graphic) I use the lasso tool, but it doesnt work to good. I use photoshop 7.0, and I dont know what else to use. Ive heard of it being easy with elements 4, using some special tool, is there something like that in 7.0?

The best way of doing this imho is using the pen tool. You could use this tutorial http://www.codedfx.com/tutorials/urt/ which I think rocks! and this one is a good one for cutting out hair http://www.dphotojournal.com/hair-selection-in-photoshop-medium/
Hope this helps

I need help on this topic too. I can't seem to find a related tutorial on codedfx and the other tutorial is good but does not do what I want. I want to rip something out of a abstract wallpaper but I find it difficult to do. Magic wand is okay if the colors were all similar. If you have any more tutorial links, please post them.

Dude... ripping is a bad thing
Or do you wanna "rip" something out of somthing you made yourself or is it free of restrictions?

I believe those are called renders, are they not? They're everywhere...

Simple pictures of people and what not are not renders. In the digital imaging community, 'renders' refer to computer-generated objects, scenes, etc. that you've made (unless you download some free ones that people premade).
For example, in those abstract 3d wallpapers; the abstract 3d shape is the render (and then they apply photoshop stuff to it, etc).
