Does anyone know of a work around for this? Why not switch to RGB, then just save as Indexed when you need to? I don't mess with color modes much :X ___________________ I'm using a tutorial from this site, (four way fire); the problem is in step five with the mode change. Could this be a version problem? I need some help pleassssssssssse because i have decided to add this efffect to something i am working on. @kid ref: http://www.absolutecross.com/tutorials/photoshop/effects/4way-fire/ ___________________ There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of creatures Chuck Norris has allowed to live. You could probably do the same thing with Gradient Map. Just pick a fiery gradient.. I'm not on a machine with PS, else I'd help :X ___________________ Did you bother to read the entire thing? He explains the process further. Or is it deleting your hidden layer completly as well? If it is doing that, how hard it is to re-create the text? ___________________
It is deleting the hidden layer also, once i switch to indexed color mode, i am unable to create a new layer. Sparky i am going to try your suggestion. Not bad, not bad. I'd add a new layer on top of it with some glows maybe to make the text itself stand out more. I'm just glad my hack worked alright ___________________ |
