A facade doesnt make you a liar just someone who keeps their emotions/feelings and personal stuff inside.
Men dominate this realm and do it very well.
Its a pre-requisite to life in the working world.

Home schooling doesnt make you any less of an indivdual.
And since youre just discovering this now means to me you come from a very loving and caring home.

Personally I think it best to keep your personal feeling to yourself, only sharing them with parents or married companions. Anything less is open to to many variables, gossip for one.

Pure jealousy is the culprit to ridicule. Something not worth the time of day.

Deep down, everyone is insecure. It's human nature.

Some people have a defensive facade. Others get offensive, and try to bring others down before someone finds out their weaknesses.

If you think "I'm not insecure at all", then you're just hiding it from yourself really well. But that doesn't mean your subconscious defense mechanism is not destroying you from the inside.

edit: Another way to put it: everyone is always thinking about what others are going to think of them, but everyone else is thinking the exact same thing about themselves.

I responded with a thanks for the heads up & an apolige. I know people judge just but the typing or utterance of the word 'the'. I got over attitudes ages ago. There's just too many and I, alone, take up enough space....LOL
