Taking on URL passed vars to Swf without Javascript

I wanna create a simple player like http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/volume_slider.htm with stop and play button only with addition to be able to pull the file to be player through URL i.e. player.swf?play=something.mp3

can anybody show me how to do that? And without Javascript.
