G'day.

Being a newbie at Photoshop, I followed this example with great interest. I tried it two days ago and all worked EXACTLY correct. I've been trying to do exactly the same steps with a different photo and can't seem to get "Marching Ants" around my mask.

Here is what I did:

Open, made sure I was in RGB mode. Pressed "Q" (Quick Mask Mode), chose my color, and "Selected Areas". Did my thing, pressed "Q" to enter Standard Mode and NO MARCHING ANTS.

This did work two days ago, and I've followed Exactly the same steps.

I really don't know what is wrong and I've looked at every turotials out there to no avail.

Many tuts that I've been reading (and posts) are talking about creating a Selection (Lasso etc). I didn't do this before and even so, can't get it to do what this tut says.

The only thing I've done over the last few days is to upgrade to CS2 9.0.1 from 7.x, but when I ran this tut the other day (using CS2) it worked fine.

DOH and Help...
