Check which ports WoW uses and open them up. Take down your firewall if you have one and if the ports don't fix it. (by firewall I mean on your computer AND the one built into your router if one exists)

Warcraft III: the Frozen Throne, love_souljah. Not WoW.
zompus: Go to WC's Options. There's an option for you to choose the port you want to use for Bnet. Alternatively, you can visit http://www.portforward.com and check out what are the ports they use.

a router typically wouldn't block ports.. odds are its a firewall. is it a device you own? if so, you should be able to configure it to unblock your ports. if you can't configure it, i suppose you oculd try to change warcraft's port to use, though a lot of security policies will block abnormal ports anyway, you could try to use 8080 or something, that's pretty non-hostile

Try this...
http://www.blizzard.com/support/?id=msi0423p - blizzard network page
http://www.blizzard.com/support/?id=msi0445p - Port Information for Firewalls, Proxies, and Routers
Hope that helps. I had that problem before when I played WC3: TFT also, opened some ports and it worked fine.
