... You just suck you table-throwing fustilug. I'll leave it at that, as I feel that you lack of the intelligence that a reasonable conversation requiers.
And start using the shift button in the beginning of new sentences, you're killing people with your weirdo sentences for crying out loud.

Did anyone watch the finale of Grey's Anatomy? Grey/Derek had to put the dog to sleep because it had a cancer that spread to its brain. Sad
.
My family's never owned a dog, but I know that people can form rather strong bonds with their companions. Losing your dog, especially after many years of living together, can be like losing your Internet connection. Very sad.

people only say things like that when they don't have anything good to come back with.
this is a forum, not a novel. i dont care about my capital letters, and if you find it hard to read 'i' instead of 'I' you must be a real dumbass....

I'm sorry, but that's just plain ignorant. Is your baby sister or baby brother not a family member when they are infants (in general, I'm not saying you have a baby sibling, I don't know if you do)? They can't take care of you either. They are more helpless than a lot of animals. Should we put them in the pound?
What about all those times that dogs or cats have called 911 when their owner was in trouble? What about those times that whatever animal has rescued humans from a fire or whatever?
I don't usually speak out like this on any forum, but what you said was just plain ignorant. He's feeling upset because he can't have the dog that he's loved for a long time anymore and all you do is basically tell him to get over it in the most insensitive way. When something bad happens to you and you want a little help, I hope you don't come over here and ask for it.
Bleedwithme, I hope you can find a loophole. If you can't, then you should give the dog to a family member or friend whom you trust/who lives nearby so you can visit.
*goes back to lurking*

it was slightly insensitive (so was noel's post, good job noel you posted what was on my mind too), but not ignorant. being ignorant is actually comparing an animal to a family member and saying the care between each other is comparable. its not. a dog is a god damn animal, you cant compare a family member to something you bought for a few hundred bucks.
and whats a dog calling 911 (does that even happen??) gotta do with this? those dogs are most likely trained. instead of thinking of those animals, think about the normal household pets that bite the hand that feeds them.

You said dogs (or animals) don't care for humans - I was giving an example. Just like a guiding dog caring for a blind man.
I never said they were on the same level as family members. Why be horrible and treat them as simple objects or worse when you can treat them with love and kindness?

i never said you can't treat them with love and kindness, you actually should.
now that we got the fact down that a dog isn't up to par with a family member, lets jott down that a dog shouldn't be an item you need to 'cope' with once it's gone.
and yes, i called a dog an item, thats all it is, just like a car.

I'm just going to accept the fact that you have your own set of morals, standards, ideas, opinions, lifestyles, definitions, and whatever else and I have mine. There is no right or wrong and no point in debating with you on the subject.
Again, bleedwithme, I hope you find a loophole to this problem and your dog is able to live with you and your father!

A bit late, but: Okay, guys, let's not flame this. The guy's down. Let's not make it even lower with an argument scrutinizing it.
Bleed w/me: If you are required to let your dog go, I hope your dog finds a good home and that this grief will not bring you to despair
