Third Floor Design - Experimental

Hi All, I'm back! Last visit... Nov, 13, 2003

Ok basically I'm on here cuz I have a friend who wants a logo done cheap and was seeing if the logo contests are still happening... then I thought... I'd like some critique on this site that I did last fall that... just didn't quite do it for me... so i'd like to get some feedback before doing a better job... since I'm going to be replacing it soon and want to see if the premise is worth pursuing or if i should switch back to flash...

Basic Premise:
Make a lingerie site that has animated elements without using Flash so that it can be fully stripped by robots and gain some reasonable rank, particularly for the brand name "Third Floor".

Results to Date:
Ranking is fine... "Third Floor" is top 5 on google and yahoo... Third Floor Design is #1 on all majors... combinations keywords with the brand and company type are #1 as well... but I'm not that pleased with the site... it was rushed... the motion is jittery, the code is messy, and the look... i don't know...

So your comments please... be mean... be rude... abuse me... i like it... hehe... just please be constructive as well...

wow, very nice, although I'd make the content show up much faster when you click a link, as it looks choppy the way it is.

2 remarks:
The effect on "escape" looks a bit tacky.
The copywriting is some of the biggest bs ever written. But hell, aslong as the customers believe it, it's all good.

other than that I like it.

Thanks guys... good points... yeah the animation is gittery... and the "escape" sequence is because those sections are direct rips from the catelogues... version two will have to have a simpler and more uniform method of image display I think... haha you think her copywriting is bad... surf fashion sites on the net... bs to the 10th power...
