present for friend

so my friend's birthday is coming up, and i was thinking i'd get her a movie that she'd like. from what i know, she likes movies where you gotta think a bit to make connections, and where you'll only get what's happening if you see the whole thing. you know what im talkin about? like eternal sunshine or something like that. are there any movies like those that you guys would recommend?

but you know. from a girl's perspective, is a movie a bad idea? I would hate to give clothes as presents cuz you're always thinking "will it be too big? too small?" you get it. and i dont think gift cards are great for friends cuz i think it'd be like "hey, i have no idea what to get, so ill just get him a card" as if its without thought.

...am i thinking too hard?

Movies are good pressies for friends - make a "date" to watch it with her.

As for what kinna movie - I don't think you should go to buy movies/books/CDs knowing what you're looking for - in my experience, when I do that, the one I want is never there. Just go look around and chances are you'll come across a movie that you will think she likes.

PS: Im just suggesting that cause I'm doped up on pain meds and can't think of a name of any movie for the life of me.
