How to get a similar result?
Does anyone know which programs are most eligible to create a logo similar to this one, not the same (left corner "SK") - with realistic shapes and light effects?

I did the basic structure of my logo in PS. Do I have to use paths to export them to f.e. 3DSM? Or is it possible to use only PS without any 3D program? Which steps would be best to get a similar result?
I'm a lil bit experienced using Photoshop but I never did something like this before. Thx for help.

Have you checked 3DSM's tutorials (the ones that come with the program)? Follow instructions for creating a 3D logo, then look at material-related tutorials and then finish with lighting and rendering.

You could download Blender (http://blender.org) and with a little practice be able to create models like that.
