Need help with walking movie clip

I'll try to explain without giving you the fla file. What I'm trying to do it make a walking animations with a stick figure. What I did was I made the stick figure piece by piece, then selected all of it and made it a symbol (movie clip, Symbol 14). I then double clicked on it to edit the symbol and made the walking animation frame by frame, it took up 14 frames. That comes out perfectly. I then went back to scene 1 and made a motion tween to move the character (Symbol 14) from the left side of the screen to the right. I'm expecting it to walk while it moves, but it is STATIC while it moves and I can't figure it out.

What am i doing wrong?
