Stopping All Sounds

I have a Flash 8 website with sounds in different movies, is it possible to have a button that will stop all these sounds?

hmm sorry its early in the morning, and im probably picking a more complex method. but the best way i can think of is to create a global sound object and stop that to do so:

//Create a global sound object
mySound = newSound();

//Attach the sound to the object
mySound.attachSound("newSong")

//stop all songs
mySound.stop();

hey i was wondering if there is anyone out there tht can help me learn how to to add music to my sig image im not good at using flash but i m good at making gif images and i want to learn how to add a song to it, ive seen it done but i cant figure out how to do it myself, if someone can give me a link or some info on how to do so it would be greatly apreciated thnx, i can be contacted at lil_killer_52@hotmail.com and my image is posted at http://rateteen.white.prohosting.com/SyC0sig2.gif htnx again

You better start learning Flash SyCo, It's never too late to get started. There are million of flash tutorial out there to help you.

It's much easier to add sound in Flash, i don't know how to put sound in Gifs or if it can be done.

there is a way to do it and there is a flash frogram to do it but i cant remember what the program is and the guy tht i watched do it wont tell me how and is very hard to get a hold of anyways

the program to do it is called swish but i still cant figure out how to add the music
