Exile9 - please review
I've just redone my online portfolio, and I was just looking to get some feedback on it.
I've tried to have it run well on both FF and IE, and to the best of my knowledge it does. What do you think of the design? Would you consider it to be a relatively profesional looking website? General comments and crits are always welcome.

Looks great, love the design. Just a simple CSS error in firefox it looks like. Check my attachment. Margin-Top: 0px probably.

Hmm, I could have swore I fixed that. I tried it out in both FF 1.5 and IE 6, on several computers, and everything was fine. It's a problem with the main content cell (yes, I know I should start using CSS for layout, but I'm still learning) being auto-sizing. So when there is to little content, it doesn't fill up the space vertically and pulls everything off.
But on that page, I gave it a fixed height, so that wouldn't happen. Everywhere else it's not an issue, only on the index page. But thanks for catching it, I'll take a look at it. And thanks for the comments.

OK, I hope I fixed the problem. It's kind of hard to tell, since I don't see it in the first place, but if you could check and tell me if it's still there, that would be great.

It uses tables for layout. :(
You should really look into web standards and css, you'll be happy you did. Using a span and a custom class for a header is useless, and then I'm being kind. Why not use h2 or h3? They are made for exactly that purpose. You'll save a lot of code and work by using the right tags. And browsers that doesn't read css will still show headers, instead of plain text.
Here are some useful links: W3 Schools - CSS, W3 Schools - XHTML and W3.org - Starting with HTML + CSS. Designwise, you want to add padding: 0; to your body, so your site will display properly in all browsers (the positioning screws up -- see the attached image).
If this portfolio is "serious," I'd consider registering a domain if I were you. The incredible obnoxious Dot TK frame doesn't really cut it.

I'm aware of the site's shortcoming in using standards, but I'm still learning CSS. I've incorporated style sheets, thought not for layout. I'll try to update at some point, but for now it uses tables. I've added the padding:0 to the body as you suggested, though I've also heard people say that in the background doesn't extend as far as the white-ish content cell in some cases. Anyone getting that?
By the way, I've taken out hosting yesterday and I should register a domain today. It's just that before now, I've never had the need. But yes, I agree, it needs to be professional, and that means real hosting. This is just a temporary measure.
