Navigation help for a photo album

I'm hoping someone could give me some help on this. I would like to create a photo album and (for example) have 10 buttons that the user can click on to see each photo. I would also like to add a "back" and "next" button to this album. How can I make the back and next buttons know which of the 10 buttons was clicked on so that it would know what is the next photo or the last photo in the series?

are the images loaded into the flash movie or are the external?

Hey Spot,

I'm thinking of loading them in externally so to keep the file size down.

at work tomorrow ill try and build something similar to what your doing so you can take a look at it
