One thing you'll always regret not doing

Is there anything in your life you wish youd done? something that you often look back on and wonder how things could have been different?something you'll always regret?

Could be falling out with a friend, going for it with a lad/lass you fancied? taking a risk? Not telling someone how you really felt?

I wish I'd:

Finished college (yeah, I know).
Started having sex a lot younger (yeah, I KNOW).
Stopped going to church a lot sooner.
Saved more money when I was younger.

I have more regrets for things that I have done.. but I don't really feel like getting into them.

Well, I'm sure we all have those kinds of regrets...the trick is realizing that we can't change them, shrug, learn if applicable, and move on....

Actually I'm starting to hate this. Regrets aren't fun. How about stuff we're happy we did, or something along those lines?

Thats an excellent idea. I know I spend far too much time regretting things that I've handled badly, or missed opportunities. And the sad thing is, its an effort in futility.

So I suggest we instead ask, "What have you done that you regret? And what have you learned from it?" Because people should learn from their past mistakes.

However, I'm not going to set a good example because I don't feel like thinking about it. Ha!
(So feel free to ignore my suggestion.)

I wish I had the balls to tell my friend how I feel about her. Now I have to spend everyday watching her be so happy with another guy. It's good for her I guess, but it makes me feel like a loser

- Finish High School
- Being kind to my exes, instead of a real jerk

If it's any consolation whatever...I did tell my friend once. We had an amazing relationship after that...but the higher the highs, the farther you fall. When it fell apart it completely ruined me, and I lost my best friend.

You may not have taken an opportunity you wish you had, but at least you still have your friend.
