This is my first website with xhtml and css coding, im stil learning but im very proud of the job I did on this website, i love the way it looks, works, and its both css and xhtml validated which took a great deal of effort.
A really cool thing about the makeing of this website was the learning process. Becuase I learned a lot and i completly fell in love with css, so my layouts wont have tables in them any time soon...
Right now there isnt much content exept for the small "portfolio" like thing I got going on, im still working on the articles, they will be up tommrow or the day after that. Im putting a lot of work into the articles so it would be cool if you checked back again and actually read them.
Im also planning on creating a large css link database, and a lot of cool downloads.
heres the link, comments welcome

Looks nice -- but it might be a little too simple. Maybe not if you have more complex websites in your portfolio though.

Looks good man suggestion on the design though you should have certain content in collumns instead of having em all horizontal like that, stretches the page and the sentences which makes the site look empty. It will add some visual body and though white space is good having your contact information in a corner and nothing on the other side of it doesn't look good to me.
I hope I explained my self correctly

I remember your previous design, and I think this is a vast improvement. The colors are neat, the contrast is great (maybe a tad too stark, but that's being reeally picky) and the sharp edges looks good too (I think it would look very generic if they were rounded).
However, there are a few things I think you could improve. For example, you have a bunch of codeproblems. The pink underlines doesn't show up under every image in Opera (just under some of them). And there's no scrollbar(!) I need that to scroll, you know.
There's also a few things regarding usability that needs your attention. First you should try to make a link out of your logo, so users can return to the main page fast, instead of scrolling down the entire page to get to the "Return to main page" link. You should also remove the "Read article" link, and make the header link to the article instead, that piece of text is redundant.
And finally, just a tip, you should really consider turning "The CSS List" into a unordered list, and try multiple columns, since there's a lot of empty space on that page.

i just wish opera never existed haha
i think for the most part, it looks decent,
i'd make the header a bit more,i dunno, developed. it seems kinda boring and just placed on there. maybe make the header smaller? i dunno, its that header thats really bothering me, and the color scheme, but thats usually to eaches own, it is very well cooridinated.
ps i love your grunge art, looks nice!
