Java IDE

So while I've decided to quit uni (well actually take time off for a year), I thought I might as well do contract web development jobs and at the same time develop some applications on my own. I've always written Java from scratch and never used an IDE like I do with C++/C# or vb.net. I don't mind doing this all at all and love using JCreator for it.

However, my question is, what IDE is used at commercial level. From what I can tell, Eclipse seems to be popular. Any others?

Thanks in advance Smile

Eclipse and NetBeans are the standard-ish Java IDE's I'd say. Personally, I'd use Eclipse. Just a slight IBM bias there, though. :P

I'm with Noel on this one---I recently started using Eclipse, and I love it.

Netbeans is a good solution, but I've also found that GEL is decent too.
