nice... not too fond of the landscaping banner, i think its kind of bland... i like the use of the blue/green with white and yellow they go well... i did notice after browsing for a few minutes that theres no way to get back to the home page (?) also quick question... i like the way you did your nav links... i had a look at the css code and noticed that its just (?) one image and the css positions show certain areas of it (?)... just thought that was cool because ive never seen that before. Last edited by redelite, November 10th, 2005 09:16 PM (Edited 1 times) Overall I think your site looks great. It's worth noting that in Firefox, I didn;t see you menu items until I put my mouse over them. I think it would be a significant improvement if you replaced the search button with an image that matched the style of the website. Changing the background color of the form element would be cool too. ___________________
Give the dark blue "side bars" a subtle repeating micro-pattern so it doesnt look so narrow (which it is very). Also could use some motion. I kind of would like to see the clouds moving across the sky like time-lapse style. ya i dont really get why that menu does that. Anyone have any suggestions? my css is at http://www.graysonmillar.com/style.css look for the #nav sections, Those are what drive the menu. But ya, I've been having trouble w/ that code and firefox for a long time. Thanks for the comments btw. ___________________ www.myspace.com/gmtrance
I saw the menu on first load, n I'm in FF... I would change the banner image though, too bland... Other than that, looks real good! Nice original color scheme! ___________________ "Sam says : Die!" Seems like you used a lot of images in this one...I like it though. Like I told you before, looks pretty TemplateMonsterlike. One thing that I don't like is the use of the arrows everywhere. It gets pretty repetitive after a while. |
