Vendetta Designs (Portfolio)
This site was originally made to be a personal portfolio, but I decided I will most likely add tutorials, too.
The links don't work, but the main layout is up. I would like feedback and any ideas you could give me to help improve my site.
Thank you!

eh i think it needs something. I dunno i just think the style of your header and etc. don't really fit with the theme of the website. It just needs a bit more graphical-ness to it.

I think it looks pretty good, although a little tweaking couldn't hurt. I think you should try some sort of off-white on the main content background, maybe just because I have a headache at the moment. An indicator of the current page in the menu bar would be a nice additional feature.

It looks like you want to go with something simplistic (which would look nice) but are hesitant to use white space to define borders instead of actual single line and dotted borders (which end up being highly contrasted to the background and thus throwing off your whole simplicity goal)

simplicity is awesome, but, if I were you, make your logo your main focus as that's what people remember, other than the name.

The different bits clash. There's nothing that ties it all together, no sense of overall style.
It needs padding around the text.
Wuts the point of putting icons of IE FF and Opera? You're basically saying, works in all browsers which defeats the point of saying so...
You've got Serif, Sans Serif AND pixel text scattered around there...
The moving affiliates draw too much attention.
I'd move the menu onto the greyish bar where you've got "navigation" written.
I'd remove the borders and background color of the text, make it take up more room and have the title of the posts define where they start/end instead of lines.

I agree with most of MrCastle's points above. When I first looked at the website, instantly I noticed the font problem. Stick with one font for the text. (A different font for the logo/ID is OK...)
Looks like it needs something still. Overall it looks too grey to me?
