Nice Effect......But how was it done?

I really like the effect that was created for the header of this site http://www.knowledgetree.ca/ the wavey matrix effect behind the white text.

Could someone let me know how to achieve such an effect?

my guess is that it is made in illustrater or flash btw its a nice banner

there used to be this photoshop filter called "sinedots" or something like that, that could create effects similair to that

Yes, it's sine dots alright...I have a generator for that on my computer. It's really cool, if you want it let me know.
