I see no benifits from linux that i can't have with windows...

I'm not a windows fanatic or anything, it's just that linux seems to have all these problems, and it's much harder to setup than windows.

What's the point!?

I ordered the previous version earlier but since they aren't here yet I ordered this version too as fast as Stephen told me about it. Ubuntu will be my very first linux (and generaly alternative OS) experience.

Ubuntu is like, your calling. If you think *nix is hard to set up, then ORDER NOW. Ubuntu is like, insert disc, installed, use for what you want.

I've been using Windows all my life (except that one semester in 7th grade with basic computer crap on a Mac with hyperstudio, ugh, who uses that ****?!). Ubuntu will hopefully pop my Linux virginity bubble.
