Happy birthday Google, sorry for being late.

So, total shocker here. I visit Google (which isn't a very rare event) and I see this special header. My first thought was: "Wohoo, happy birthday Google!" But then it slowly translated into regret... Am I terribly late? Did they cut the cake yet? Why didn't I buy a present? Google's birthday was 20 days ago, on September the 7th, why didn't someone tell me?! Google is a shy thing and don't want boost itself very much I guess, but some family member could have stuck me a note under the door at least. I never really got a chance to do what I should have done.

Thank you Google, for always being there, looking things up for me when I need it. You never say no, you never laugh at me for spelling bad although you so kindly provide ideas on what I could have meant. Your colors make me smile, your white and perfect interface is always welcome behind my eyelids. <3

So, in lack of a much better present, I will do something that would seam very strange and un-presentish to most people; I will stay away from google.com for the duration of this entire day. I want to show Google how much I love it by doing what would be hardest for me in it's honor, not using it.

Starting from... Now. See you tomorow Google, I will have a lot of questions to ask you, be so sure.

i find it amazing, that in only 7 years, google has become one of the worlds most recognisable brands and made millions of dollars...
