Right now I'm atempting to find some decent free games because well, I'm cheap. And broke. The latter is perhaps the main reason for the former.

Battle for Wesnoth is a fun turn-based strategy game set in a fantasy setting. Moreover, its open-source which to me makes it rather cool. It comes stock with quite a few fun single player campaigns but it also has a rather large amount of player contributed content to download. Which includes new maps, new campaigns and more units.

I have to say, it is without a doubt the best open-source game I've had the pleasure to play. I've been wasting away quite a few hours with this one.

Thang is a free mmorpg set in an oriental theme. It lacks quite a few features other games have. But unlike far too many other free mmorpgs out there (RYL 1 & 2, Knight Online, etc), its relatively bugfree. And as everyone knows, bugfree is nice.

Other than that, I've been thinking of atempting to create and work another Hardcore character in D2 back up onto the top of the highscores chart. I haven't had a character up there since they reset the ladder a while back. (1.5-2.5 years back)
