Flash Comm Server Setup

Hey, I need a bit of help with this. I made a simple chat program using Flash MX 2004 and the communication component from the Flash Comm Server Installation. It works from localhost fine and everything is good with that, but I want to put it on my remote web server. I've read every help file that came with Flash Comm and none of them really help me.

In the diagrams, it basically says the server-side (FLA, ASC) files run from my computer through the RTMP protocol and the client files (SWF, HTML) are loaded from a web server. However, I don't know how to configure it to work. Any help?

In basic terms, I want to use my chat program on my web server for me and my friends, but it doesn't work wihtout a connection to the Flash Comm Server.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Do you have it so the connection is made to RTMP://your_ip/application_folder instead of RTMP:/application_folder ?
