When I first loaded your portfolio page, the text was like shouting on me. As far as web development goes, you should make your page look professional, with a clean and nice layout. Of course, you can experiment, just like what you did, but I think the font-face you used is wrong. Also, the header looks a bit out-of-place. And I had a hard time reading the "Jimmy-t.co.uk :: v2" bar. You could also explore other font-faces like Verdana and Tahoma, because when compared to Arial, Arial sucks (IMHO).
In addition to all of these, I visited ArtUnity. No offense, but I think that it should be "An artist's online hangout" instead of "An artists online hangout". Or you could improve it, like "The home of artists online" (I know it could sound crappy compared to yours).
Overall, not a bad job, but needs more improvement. :)
P.S.: I checked again, and... Please don't use tables for layout ^_^ I know it's quite hard to begin with divs, but if you don't care about validation (which you should, because you run a web dev company), then just don't force yourself.

yeah satelite internet usually costs about 600-700 bucks just for the satelite... but dsl is $15 with sbc. i looked at the site, and it did take about 15 seconds to load everything, which is slow considering im boradband 4mbps dl speed.

Hey I aint no expert but as a point of view of just some random person who would maybe use the services offered it has more of a designers portfolio/about me website than a professional web design operation.
The first thing I noticed was how you had these funky out of space top banner and side banner but when the content box opened it was perfect edge rectangle. Maybe u could funkify this also with a background image that matches that of the main background.
As I said I aint no web designer. I had an about me/portfolio site which I tried to incorporate a freelance section to and decided I would try to make it a little more porfessional looking. You can comment on it here if you wish http://forums.neverside.com/thread/90475/

That green looks familiar... you don't have any long lost identical twins do you? We seem to think alike :P
- Header fits very nicely I think.
- Perhaps consider shrinking it down... Unless you are going to fill up all that space...
- Left align or justify the text? I guess that is just personal preference though...
- Kudos to anyone that can get a dotted border to work well (...you have no idea how many dotted borders I have attempted...)

I think you might want to proofread your site. Just glancing over it, there are a number of grammatical errors. Didn't read it close enough to check spelling, but, take a close look at it; get some freinds to read it. Personally, I wouldn't hire someone who would make my site look like a highschool kid typed it up, so check the spelling and grammar. None of the links worked for me either. No idea why. I'm on firefox, but I doubt that had anything to do with it. Keep up the work.
