I agree, 9/11 is used as justification to bully around other nations in the name of "freedom", but as each day passes Bush and his Administation prove more and more that that isn't true. And the result is simply more unnecesary death of innocent people.

War in Iraq -- 27,963+ Civilian Casualties

Ten times as many innocent lives have been lost in Iraq... so far. We live in such a peacful world. :(

NY is fine, rehashing the anniversary of 9-11 every year is getting old though. It was a tragedy, it's not anymore, and it's time to move on as a country. As individuals, live on however you please. As a country, get over it. Even the kids I know lost parents and friends there are tired of hearing of it, it's like reopening a wound. It's turning Hallmark almost, like over publicized in the name of high TV ratings.

I live very close to Philadelphia (like... I can see the skyline out of my bedroom window) and many family members live and work in the city. Since Philadelphia is the 4th biggest area in the country, and very close to NYC, we where very on edge. I still get a little scared when Philly Int'l changes the landing pattern and you see a huge plane where it usually isn't. But for the most part, life is back to normal.

For most people, at least here, we don't feel any different. We don't feel safer, we don't feel less safe. Our lives haven't changed, except for longer lines at the airport and the info signs of the highway have changed from "Drive Safely" to "Report Suspicious Activity".

9-11-01 was a horrible day. But our lives have not stoped since.

The war in Iraq is more of a problem than 9/11 was imo
