Tired of giving away your email address?

Something I came across while browsing today.

Very cool idea if you ask me. :)

It seems ok, but the fact that the temporary email address is deleted after a few hours has me slightly paranoid about the service - I mean, what if within those 'few hours' someone else were to coincidentally have given away that same email address, and were to check it. Wouldn't they see any previous messages currently stored on that address, in the time it hasn't been deleted?

I prefer http://www.jetable.org/en/index

You type in your real email address, and it makes a temporary email address that will forward to yours. It's quite useful.

Shahrukh - yes, they probably would, but does it matter? this isn't really used for personal mail... it's more for when you have to give an email address somewhere (to get a confirmation link, a password, etc) but don't trust them to not spam your address, or to not put it online somewhere.

And if that still bothers you, I'm sure you can use a lengthy username (random letters and numbers) which no one else will have, certainly not within the next few hours.
